Conflicts between the Characters

In the whole book we can see six big conflicts between the Characters:

The first one is present at the beginning of the story: Kareem is not sure if Samira loves him. This self-consciousness makes that Kareem doubt. With the time Kareem notices that this insecurity hadn’t make a sense and both get married.

Although it isn’t a big discuss, Kareem´s Family and Samira’s family, above all the fathers, have their different ways to see something, in this case,  the engagement of their children. Both are worried about the status of families. For example Kareem’s father, Khaled thinks that Samira’s family has a high status and this is a reason why the things between both can´t be good because they have different ways to see things for example both have different manners.

Even if Khaled Mansoor and the owner of his company Sheikh Ahmed Bin Salem are friends, there are present some problems when the police accused Khaled for steeling Sheikh’s jewelry. For Sheikh’s it is not easy to believe what the police was telling him.  But he trusted his friend and he knew that he could be a thief.  

After this terrible misunderstanding, the policemen in Dubai and Khaled get in another conflict. The policeman accused him to be the thief of Sheikh’s jewelry. Khaled is trying to show the policeman that he isn’t guilty so here begin as consequence of a confusion, an argue.

Between family Bin Salem we can find a conflict, too: Omar Bin Salem and his father Sheikh Ahmed they don´t get well because Omar is immature and don’t understand the effort that his father makes for him. It has to be really hard to know that his own son steal his own father who gave him a lot of facilities.

The last and big conflict we can analyze is the fight between the truth and kareem’s father, Khaled. His is accused to be a jewelry thief. How can he prove that he is not the thief? Kareem, his son, is ready to risk a lot of things like his engagement with Samira to defend and to show what is true because he is sure that his father is not a thief.
